How much does it cost to move or install an electrical outlet?
Installing a new outlet can cost between $120 and $300, depending on the work required to get the new outlet into place. We need to take into account attic access, proximity of existing cable or a junction box, number of fixtures already on the circuit, the presence of moisture, the wall material, and many other factors. If your outlet job requires extensive rewiring then that can drive up the cost.

How many electrical outlets can you have in one room?
It depends on the size and shape of the room. Per electrical code there must be one outlet within six feet from any given point on the wall. You can add more for your convenience, though you will also be limited by the panel. You may need an upgrade if you want more than the standard number of outlets.
Outlet height should be uniform but we can adjust them to account for special needs.
Installing outlets outside
Don’t forget outside! Outdoor GFCIs give you the power to create a movie night under the stars, to run a stereo system during your back yard bbq, or to set up your laptop and work on your deck.
We’re happy to get those outlets placed and ready to go. We can even add dedicated appliance outlets if you want to create an outdoor living room or kitchen.
